Kyle McGuire


Kyle McGuire is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, Kyle worked in management consulting, investment banking, and proprietary trading. Over the summer, Kyle interned at Microsoft in Redmond, WA, where he worked on business strategy for their One Commercial Partner organization. Kyle holds a degree in Finance from the University of Denver, and is originally from Massachusetts.


Naveen Qureshi


Naveen Qureshi is a second year Columbia Business School student. Prior to CBS, she worked in Product Management at Capital One, where she disrupted the Canadian banking industry by leading the first team to create a financial platform on public cloud. Over the Summer, Naveen interned as a Senior Product Manager-Technical in the Alexa Experience and Devices team at Amazon. In her free time, Naveen enjoys traveling (25+ countries and counting), keeping abreast with tech news and stand-up comedy.

Mayssa Haddad

Mayssa Haddad (249)Mayssa is a second year student at CBS. She received her bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon. Mayssa also has a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Columbia University. Prior to CBS, she worked with Strategy& for 3.5 years in the Middle East. She decided to pursue an MBA to explore career opportunities in Tech. Mayssa spent the summer of 2018 interning at Amazon in Seattle.

Saakshi Agarwal


Saakshi Agarwal is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. She has a master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Imperial College, London and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore, India. Prior to CBS, she has worked with a $100m VC fund investing in consumer electronics in Delhi, India and with Credit Suisse where she valued all sorts of exotic derivatives in Mumbai, India.  Saakshi spent the summer of 2018 interning at Amazon in Seattle. She supports Avani-Kumaon, an NGO in the foothills of Himalayas and  has also worked with Habitat for Humanity in Nepal. In her free time, she loves to travel and try new restaurants in the city.

Parisa Hemati


Parisa is a second year J-term student at CBS. She did her undergraduate degree in Vancouver, Canada majoring in sciences. Parisa moved to New York city about five years ago for graduate school to do a masters degree in human genetics. While working at Columbia University Medical Center, she decided to switch gears from the medical field and join CBS. Parisa is interested in the application of genomics sciences and plans to join the biotechnology field post graduation.

Greg Marvin

Face picGreg is a second year student at CBS. Greg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics. He spent the first five years of his career in investing, most recently at a multi-strategy asset manager in San Francisco where he focused primarily on speculative-grade credit investments for the firm’s hedge fund and structured credit strategies. He then spent some time in South America at an early-stage FinTech startup working to use technology to expand financial access to the underbanked population. Greg is passionate about making products and services more useful and successful through innovation.

Matt is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Before CBS, he worked as a Managing Consultant at IBM Global Business Services. He spent his summer at a digital health care start up working directly with the founders to develop the firm’s technology road-map.

Lisa Chen

Lisa Chen

Lisa is 2nd year at CBS, and the VP of Office Visits in TBG. Prior to business school, she worked in Business Development for BlackRock’s proprietary FinTech solution. Over the summer, Lisa interned in investment management in New York. She holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University.


Shruti Nayak


Shruti Nayak ’19 was born and raised in Bangalore, India. She moved to Singapore to study Computer Engineering at National University of Singapore. Prior to moving to New York for business school, she worked in Singapore at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Business Analyst in their Portfolio Trading division. At CBS, she is focusing on strategy and pursuing a career in management consulting. Over the summer, Shruti worked at BCG and will be joining there full-time. In her free time, she loves to try out new recipes and discover new restaurants in the city.

Aly is a second-year J-term student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, Aly worked in Analytics and Product Management at Athenahealth. Over the summer Aly interned as Product Manager at Truveris, a Series D-funded HealthTech company. Aly holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Lehigh University.

Nisha Balwani


Nisha Balwani ‘19 was born and raised in Edison, New Jersey, and graduated from Rutgers University Business School with a major in marketing. During her undergraduate business school program, Nisha was recruited by Unilever, where she worked in multiple sales and marketing roles supporting key clients including Safeway, CVS, and Walgreens. Prior to CBS, Nisha worked with RCI Technologies, Inc., an Information Technology company founded by her parents, as the Business Development Manager. Nisha is interested in technology entrepreneurship, product marketing, and analytics. In her free time, she enjoys trying new boutique studio fitness classes and frequenting the many NYC coffee shops.

Bennett Mayrock


Bennett has worked in Tech in Sales and Management roles. After graduating from UPenn in 2012 with a History degree, he joined a SAS startup, Krossover, as one of the first sales hires. From there he opened a summer retail pop up in East Hampton, then spent 4 years as Director of Sales at MakerBot, the Brooklyn based market leader in Desktop 3D Printers.

Chloe Zeng

Zeng Yue

Chloe Zeng is a 2nd year student in business school. Prior to CBS, Chloe worked in Boston Consulting Group as a consultant. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys skiing and outdoor activities.


Christian Guillermo


Christian is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, he worked for six years in general management at a group of companies in the Philippines that is involved in petroleum wholesale and retail, trucking, truck importation, and horizontal construction. This fall, he is interning at a pre-seed tech startup in New York City. He holds a BS degree in Management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.


Yogesh Kumar

Yogesh is a full time MBA student at Columbia Business School (CBS). Prior to CBS, Yogesh was working as a chief field geophysicist at Schlumberger. He has worked in various multi-cultural and multi-functional teams across more than 15 countries spread over four continents. He brings with him a deep understanding of operations and is passionate about the intersection of technology and business.

Cynthia Allum


Cynthia is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Before CBS, she worked as an editor for Women in the World at The New York Times, where she covered human rights issues. This past summer, Cynthia interned with the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) team at Apple. She holds a B.A. from New York University.

Mukul Gupta is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to his MBA, Mukul worked as a product manager in various technology startups in India. Over the summer, he was a Product Management MBA intern at Google.
